Published by Punctum. Series of 84 portraits by Alessandro Cidda of all the busts of the Janiculum Hill in Rome. This busts represented Italy's way of showing its gratitude to the leading figures of the "Risorgimento" but also of celebrating its civic glories of past and present. The streets were thus adorned with busts of poets, writers and artists, Risorgimento heroes and leading politicians. Each figure has an exhaustive and accurate biography.
